Lucy Parker is a UK based Independent Jewellery Designer/Maker, she makes all of her pieces by hand in her studio.
Lucy is inspired by the people around her, looking at their tastes and what they choose to wear. She enjoys the sense of nostalgia that certain types of jewellery can provoke in people and the sentimentality and stories that it can tell.
Her collection is inspired by traditional jewellery and the minimalist movement. Bold, Sculptural shapes have been hand carved by Lucy, they hone in on timeless style and create their own classic.
Lucy studied BA Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins and graduated in 2015. She went on to work as a bespoke Jewellery Designer for a small company in Cambridge for two years. Lucy now designs and makes her own jewellery whilst training to become a stone setter with Keith Hewitt - Fellow of IPG (institute of professional goldsmiths).
Lucy's display's her collection every half a year at 'The Jewellery Pop-Up'. A collective set up by Lucy as a platform to celebrate and support emerging jewellery designers through a bricks-and-mortar space. She will displaying her work once again at Boxpark in Shoreditch this Christmas.
